Dr. Amanda Martini is a local to the community; born and raised in Ingleside, Texas.  After graduating from Ingleside High School, she attended Texas A&M Corpus Christi where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Pre-Medical emphasis in May 2002.  While there, she cofounded and was the President of the first Honors Fraternity on campus, Alpha Epsilon Delta.  While working as an Optometric Assistant in college, she decided that her passion was Optometry and became motivated to pursue her Doctor of Optometry Degree.

Subsequently, Dr. Martini went to the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in May 2006.  During her clinical rotations, Dr. Martini received multiple Clinical Letters of Excellence in the Family Practice, Pediatrics, Contact Lenses, and Glaucoma fields. In her final year, Dr. Martini completed two clinical internships in the greater Houston area providing her proficiency in the most recent advancements in eye care.

Throughout her career, she has specialized in managing a wide range of ocular conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and dry eye disease.  Dr. Martini is dedicated to fostering open communication and building strong, trusting relationships with her patients.  Dr. Martini is a member of the Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Rockport and Portland Chamber of Commerce.


Dr. Martini enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures.  She and her husband are raising two boys and have a Shih Tzu named Zoey.
